ECEX Air Intake Screens Protect BBC Broadcasting House AHU Intakes

We have recently installed ECEX Air Intake Screens at the BBC’s Broadcasting House. Due to their busy London W1 location, the main supply air intakes to the buildings were drawing in large volumes of airborne debris – dust, pollen, insects, litter etc., causing repeated heavy clogging of the intake plenum and the frost coils and internal filters of the AHU’s served by these intakes.

Made-to-measure ECEX Air Intake Screens, installed over the existing mesh grating, were trapping this airborne debris within days of fitting. The debris load can now be visually inspected at regular intervals and simply brushed or vacuumed clean in moments.
