The Project
The 12m x 12m x 2.5m aluminium water tank serving the fire hose reels at a Ministry of Justice site were beyond end-of-life and leaking.
The Solution
Working in partnership with leading manufacturer of water storage tanks, Dewey Waters, ECEX completed the following works:
· Systematic dismantling and disposal of existing tank
· Preparation of concrete base and installation of new tank support steelwork
· Erection of new 225,000 litre (nominal) sectional GRP water storage tank
· Re-configuration of all connecting pipework and valves
· Filling of tank and return to service
